    Late-breaking events this week

    TUESDAY 19
    We all know how cool New Yorkers’ tattoos are, but Philly represents on Tuesday with more than 300 images from the local tattoo culture at Cameo (8pm–midnight, free). Stick around for a slide show preview later today.

    WEDNESDAY 20
    You voted, and Jason Borbay won TONY’s Most Creative New Yorker poll. On Wednesday, he unveils a one-night-only exhibition, “Urbania,“ (M&T Bank, Flatiron Branch, 200 Fifth Ave between 23rd and 24th Sts; borbay.com/urbania; 6–9pm, free). Sip free cocktails and imbibe his architectural-impressionist re-creations of New York landmarks. Check back on Wednesday for a slide show preview of his work.

    Catch a free screening of Punking Out at 92YTribeca (6:30pm, free), a documentary about of the genesis of the punk movement centering on CBGB.

    THURSDAY 21
    Hark back to a more innocent time with an evening of Archie Comics at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art (7pm, $5), featuring Archie co-president and editor-in-chief Victor Gorelick and Mad magazine writer Arie Kaplan, presented as part of the exhibition “The Art of Archie Comics.”

    Feel like decking your halls with Americana? Visit the American Folk Art Museum’s American Antiques show at the Metropolitan Pavilion (Thu, Fri 11am–8pm; Sat 11am–7pm; Sun noon–5pm; $18). Of note this year are Wilson A. Bentley’s vintage photographs of snowflakes.

    FRIDAY 22
    Party planners Winkel & Balktick host the final Friday night at Monkey Town before it closes, with The Last Safari (8pm–5am, $50), a prix-fixe meal and after-party—get tickets from the Winkel & Balktick website while you can.

    SATURDAY 23
    Celebrate Chinese New Year with a 60-foot-long dancing dragon, circus performers, ninjas and a five-hour open bar at The Living Theatre (11pm–4am, $15).

    It was only a matter of time: Sutton Place discards its sense of shame and hosts a Jersey Shore Theme Party (10pm–4am, $10). Dress the part and pump your fist to the sounds of the show’s DJ Pauly D between 11pm and 1am.

    Verbal Graffiti hosts Testing 123, a night of live music and DJs at the Old Red Schoolhouse (330 Ellery St between Beaver St and Broadway, Bushwick, Brooklyn; verbalgraffiticulture.com; 10pm–4am, $5).
