After 21 years in Soho, Leekan Designs has moved its shop to the Lower East Side. To celebrate, it’s offering 20 percent to 70 percent off storewide. Among the discounted goods are Moroccan ceramic pots, sheared from $240 to $70; silk woven shawls from Laos, reduced from $160 to $60; and sterling silver cuffs from Thailand, halved to $140. 4 Rivington St between Bowery and Chrystie St (212-226-7226, leekan.com). Subway: J, M, Z to Bowery; 6 to Spring St. Mon–Sat 11am–6pm; Sun noon–5pm. Thu 29–Nov 15.

Red-carpet-worthy garb is finally affordable thanks to the major markdowns from this local designer. Snap up some glam Asian-inspired pieces, like bamboo appliqué dresses, nicked from $420 to $190; silk charmeuse trench coats, whittled from $750 to $375; and macramé bib tunics for $180 (normally $375). 260 W 39th St between Seventh and Eighth Aves, 11th floor (viviennetam.com). Subway: A, C, E to 42nd St–Port Authority; N, Q, R, W, 42nd St S, 1, 2, 3, 7 to 42nd St–Times Sq. Wed 4 9am–8pm; Nov 5, Nov 6 10am–7pm.

    Kenneth Cole
You can always count on the threads from this designer to be well made and work-appropriate. In honor of election day, all Kenneth Cole retail stores (and online at kennethcole.com) are extending its employee discount of 40 percent off to its customers. So head to the polls then head to the stores to stock up on some of Cole’s timeless staples. Locations throughout the city; visit kennethcole.com for info. Tue 3.
