On June 27, don fins, aqua makeup and seashell pasties—or, if you prefer, a hobo costume—for Hobos & Mermaids on the High Seas, a dance and costume party aboard the Clipper City ship (Pier 17, South Street Seaport; boat boards 9pm, sails 10pm–midnight; advance $20, at the dock $25). DJ Jon Margulies, the originator of hobo-tech, will have you hobo-pokeying to railroad-song mash-ups all night long. The mer-people, however, may prefer the swim.
