    Discount card for Brooklynites

Posted in Shopping by Lisa Freedman on March 11th, 2009 at 12:31 pm

cardYou know how old people get an AARP card that gets them discounts at shops and restaurants? Now, there’s a similar card for Brooklynites that doesn’t require the holder to have varicose veins and/or a cataract. All About Brooklyn Concierge has launched its Brooklyn Perks Savings Card ($19.95), which allows cardholders to receive exclusive discounts and valuable savings at their favorite shopping and dining venues Brooklyn-wide. More than 75 establishments currently accept the card, including restaurants, spas, fitness centers, clothing boutiques, eyewear shops, yoga centers, home decor stores and more. Then, with all the money you save, you can buy…nothing. The point here is to save, remember?!?
