As the headline suggests, Jack Spade has been burglarized. Not once, but twice within 40 days! By the same bag-hungry burglar! The thief made his way into the shop after breaking the glass of the front door with a log. Both times. Seriously, I couldn’t make this stuff up!
In honor of the break-ins, Jack Spade has created Breaking & Entering ($15), an illustrated book based on the surveillance video. It’s also gussied up its window treatments to give tribute to the thief and posted some of the security footage on jackspade.com. It may be down on its luck, but Jack Spade can still admire the burglar’s chutzpah!
