Decisions, decisions…
On Monday 3, you have two fantastic options to see TV writers performing live comedy:
(1) the second edition of the TONY-sponsored Strike Night!
(2) a live staging of the Emmy-nominated The Colbert Report
Actually, we take that back.
Unless you bought a ticket to Colbert’s show before it was announced—at which point it was already sold out—you have one option. Fortunately for you, it’s a doozy.
The first Strike Night! was a raging success and raised loads of money for the striking writers. The second show is going to be even better. We’ve got headliner John Oliver (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart) as well as writers from Saturday Night Live, Letterman and Conan. Best of all, tickets are available…for now.

That was great! What an awesome surprise to have Dimitri Martin perform. It was fantastic. Who is performing next week?
Don’t get me wrong, I want the strike to end and I want it to work out well, but if we keep getting stuff like this….well…it’s better than television.
