JetBlue will not rest until it is by far the hippest airline in the biz. We were sold on the satellite TVs and pretty comfortable leather seats, but it had to go a step further. In conjunction with Superfly Productions—the team behind Bonnaroo and Outside the Lands—JetBlue has announced “Live from T5,” a six-month, 12-date concert showcase that may make you miss your flight.
The series already includes the likes of Justin Townes Earle, Nicole Atkins and Alberta Cross, but will also feature emerging artists, who can upload a song (through July 22) here to win a chance to play the airport. Also, the top artist—as determined by the event organizers—will get to open for a headliner at the other Terminal 5…the actual concert venue.
