Sashimi and suds is a relatively untapped pairing in New York’s sake-centric Japanese restaurants. But the downtown location of sushi mecca Megu is out to change that. To celebrate its recently debuted menu of 30 artisanal beers, Megu will be offering a half-price deal every Sunday from 5:30pm to close. Beer lovers can sip selections like Germany’s Leipziger Gose sour ale ($7.50 on Sunday nights) in the restaurant or the upstairs lounge. Serious bargain-hunters, take note: The food menu is notoriously costly.—M. Elizabeth Sheldon
Get your weekend off the ground early with Flight Nights at Cobble Hill’s Enoteca on Court, Wednesdays through October 28. Your first flight of three wines is totally gratis and will feature a different producer from the wine bar’s 125-bottle list each night. Tonight they’ll pop the cork on bottles from Chianti’s Rocca delle Macìe; next week includes selections from Francis Ford Coppola’s vineyards. —Liz Sheldon
Who said happy hour had to be brief? Stop by the Rusty Knot anytime on Tuesdays to take advantage of its two-for-one drink deals. That includes two pints of Busch beer for $3, or two well drinks for $3.50 to $4. For those who are hungry, a pint of Busch with a pretzel dog is now $5 all week long.

Starting tonight, Superdive–which has already earned its fratboy cred by offering keg service—ups the ante even further with Champagne Tuesdays. Here’s the deal: $20 buys all-you-can-drink bubbly served out of a bathtub on wheels…by a little person…and yes, he’s dressed like a pirate. It’s either a terrifying sign of the apocalypse or the best excuse ever to miss Melrose Place. There’s only one way to find out.
Starting this Saturday, September 26, and recurring every Friday and Saturday night at 10pm thereafter, Bark Hot Dogs will offer an all-you-can-drink special of Sixpoint Craft Ales for $15. The restaurant stays open until 1am or later, so that’s quite a bit of beer you can pack away. While you’re at it, you might as well eat a couple of those tasty hot dogs, too, offered at their normal à la carte prices.
Starting tomorrow, Melt will offer free bar snacks with every cocktail ordered at the bar, from 5pm until closing. Drinks like the Mo-G-to (gin, lime juice, mint) and the Meltdown (tequila, jalapeño, lime juice and basil) will be paired with your choice of small bites, including crispy ravioli with herbed goat cheese, ricotta crostini with basil and tomato, and a soft-cooked egg with arugula and bacon.
First, ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? (Do ya, punk?) If the answer’s yes, order up a round at Kingswood on the weekends between 2 and 7pm. The bartender will toss a coin, and if you call it right, your drinks are on the house. The one-shot deal holds true for all the booze on Kingswood’s extensive menu, including summer wines like the 2007 La Boudonnerie chenin blanc (normally $12 a glass) and the aptly named Lucky Beer from Australia ($8).—Eve Binder
File this happy hour away for a less gloomy day. Water Taxi Beach/South Street Seaport just introduced this enticing raw-bar deal: On Thursdays and Fridays from 4 to 6pm, you can score oysters, shrimp and clams for 50¢ each (usually around $3 a pop). Beers are half price ($3), and mixed drinks start at $3.
Want more beach bars? TONY doth provide.
Because we love you, dear readers, here are some of the best booze deals we could find, hand-delivered. See you there ’round 5pm?
