The Feed openings: Dutch Boy Burger

Posted in Eat Out by Daniel Gritzer on March 2nd, 2010 at 12:42 pm

dutchboyCrown Heights drinkers will have a new option for padding their stomachs, when owner Matthew Roff unveils a burger joint connected to his bar, Franklin Park, on March 8. Diners can order from a menu that includes grilled seven-ounce burgers, like the signature Dutch Boy (cheddar, mushrooms, caramelized onions), along with milk shakes made from Blue Marble ice cream. Four signature cocktails, two beers and root beer (for floats!) will be available in the space, which is named for a Dutch Boy Paint sign left behind by a previous occupant. (N.B.: You’d do well to forget that other definition of “Dutch Boy.”)

If that selection doesn’t suffice, diners can also order drinks from neighboring Franklin Park; at the same time, bargoers can order the full menu from the restaurant, even after the dining room closes. 766 Franklin Ave between Lincoln and St. Johns Pl, Crown Heights, Brooklyn (no phone yet)
