While we were busy rounding up the city’s best options for Thanksgiving, the gang over at New York Press was putting this little chestnut—their Thanksgiving issue—to bed. But you can’t judge an alt weekly by its cover, as the saying (sort of) goes, and there’s plenty of T-Day content to be found within, including this tale of a dude who sourced his Thanksgiving dinner guests on Craigslist. The Feed, for one, is thankful to see a cover-bird that’s less heroic than the glazed, glistening beauts featured in every food mag this time of year. Nonetheless, we’ll be going easy on the stuffing tomorrow.
