City Harvest Bid Against Hunger
Many New Yorkers are closer to the soup kitchen than the chef’s table these days. Support them at this annual charity taste-around benefiting City Harvest. More than 60 of the city’s best eateries will offer bites such as lamb meatball sliders (Locanda Verde) and duck pastrami (Per Se). Leave room for the unlimited cocktails. Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 W 18th St between Sixth and Seventh Aves (cityharvest.org). 7–10pm, $250.
Champagne Tuesdays
Forget champagne and caviar: At Superdive, your fizz comes with a side of scallywag. Every Tuesday, the bar offers unlimited bottles of champagne for just $25. Said bottles are sabered by a pirate-costumed little person perched in a bathtub. You know, just for kicks. Superdive, 200 Ave A between 12th and 13th Sts (646-448-4854, superdivebar.com). 7–10pm; $25.
