You know what you can kiss, Hershey.
Like any good beloved public figure, beleaguered chocolatier Jacques Torres is taking his legal skirmish with Hershey’s to the people. That’s right—next Wednesday, you are invited to decide whether his champagne kiss, a bonbon filled with Taittinger-laced ganache and stamped with a lipstick smooch, in “any way, shape or form” resembles the iconic foil-wrapped sweet. See the full details after the jump.
From noon to 3pm at all three locations of Jacques Torres Chocolate, civilians can taste one (that’s one sample per person, folks!) champagne kiss. Per official word, the chocolate factory is preparing 10,000 pieces for the occasion, and “once the samples are gone they’re gone.” Though voting isn’t mandatory, we imagine it’s encouraged. Free chocolate: That’s one way to sway the ballot.
