    The Feed Openings: Scuderia, Zuzu Ramen and more

    Consider the following new restaurants when heading out on the town next week (call ahead to confirm openings):

    Scuderia Silvano Marchetto and his daughter Leyla have opened this urban-rustic eatery across from their flagship, Da Silvano. The affordable eats include pizza—the signature pie features fig jam, blue cheese and speck. Also on the menu: not-so-affordable limited-edition Da Silvano sneakers for $895. 10 Downing St, entrance on Sixth Ave between Bleecker and W Houston Sts (212-206-9111)

    Zuzu Ramen The ramen explosion crosses over to Brooklyn with this compact spot from the owners of Sheep Station. Look for creative varieties with international twists including a Thai-influenced green curry–miso ramen. 173 Fourth Ave at DeGraw St, Park Slope, Brooklyn (718-398-9898)

    Anselmo’s Coal-Fired Brick-Oven Pizzeria Smoke-free coal will keep the oven infernal at Red Hook’s latest pizzeria. The brief menu includes individual-size pies. 354 Van Brunt St at Sullivan St, Red Hook, Brooklyn (no phone yet)

    Glass Shop Kathryn Weatherup, owner of the eponymous Prospect Heights cocktail lounge, has gotten into the coffee game. Choose among La Colombe Torrefaction espresso drinks and sandwiches, including a sardine and mint-caper aioli number. 766 Classon Ave between St. Johns and Sterling Pls, Crown Heights, Brooklyn (no phone yet)

    Premo’s Perfection Having worked as a personal chef for hip-hop sensation Salt-N-Pepa and Congressman Charles Rangel, Dexter “Premo” Sanders now turns his attention to his first restaurant. Expect creative American dishes and regional classics like chicken and waffles. 109-18 Farmers Blvd at Liberty Ave, Hollis, Queens (347-809-7605)

    Deniz The owners of Bensonhurst’s Istanbul Fast Food have opened a Turkish restaurant in Fort Greene. Bites like zucchini pancakes share the menu with more regionally diffuse preparations, among them penne with vodka sauce. 662 Fulton St at South Elliott Pl, Fort Greene, Brooklyn (718-852-6503)

    Souen Organic Ramen The masters of macrobiotics have opened a tiny vegetarian-friendly ramen shop. Appetizers­—such as seitan dumplings—are vegan, while the broths include miso, shoyu (soy sauce flavor) and seafood. 326 E 6th St between First and Second Aves (212-388-1155)

    La Carbonara This Italian restaurant, from the owners of Gallo Nero and Puttanesca, was conceived specifically for hard times: Nothing on the menu costs more than $15, and most wines are under $20. 202 W 14th St between Seventh and Eighth Aves (212-255-2060)

    Lucky Shot Espresso Owner Gavin Compton (Variety) opens his second Brooklyn coffeehouse, in Greenpoint. Don’t ask for decaf: Stumptown single-origin—served alongside Blue Sky muffins and Ceci-Cela pastries—is the joe of choice. 145 Driggs Ave between Humboldt and Russell Sts, Greenpoint, Brooklyn (no phone yet)

    Press Health-conscious fare is the specialty at this Murray Hill wrap joint. House-made wraps are baked to order, and can be stuffed with a variety of fillings, like mushroom and zucchini. 379 Third Ave between 27th and 28th Sts (212-679-4699)

    Tracy Stern SALONTEA TeaBar Teatime gets a Barbie-esque makeover at this shop: A lacquered pink disco ball and bright-orange walls pep up the 16-seat space, while teas include creations like “The Slimming Beauty” (green and black teas, yerba maté, orange and passion fruit flowers, guarana extract). 501 E 75th St at York Ave (no phone yet)

      Premo’s Perfection is a great place. The food is excellent especially their fish and crab cakes. There is some great cuisine.
      I will tell my friends about it. It’s nice to see a great sit down place in the neighborhood.
