A very special Feed operative passed on these shots of the goings-on at Carroll Gardens resto (and Eat Out Award nominee) Buttermilk Channel. Word on Court Street is that Sean Penn is filming inside the restaurant as we type.
To sly sorts roving the ‘hood today: A modest bounty of Eat Out swag awaits the first reader who brings us a shot of the Oscar-winning actor at Buttermilk (be civilized about it, please). Bonus points if he’s eating the fried chicken (because really, who goes to Buttermilk and doesn’t eat the fried chicken).
Update: Team film alerts us that Mr. Penn may forgoe meat altogether and so would not, in fact, enjoy that fried chicken. To each his own, we ’spose.
Actually, it’s Naomi Watts. I caught a glimpse of her this morning as I walked by — she was sitting at the bar with Valerie Plame, who she’s playing in the movie!! NW is *so* gorgeous. Funny to think that our fave neighborhood restaurant (pecan pie sundae woot!) will be hitting the big screen. . . .
