On the heels of the ‘21′ Club’s tie policy veto comes another blow to NYC’s formal restaurant scene. David and Karen Waltuck’s Tribeca jewel box—renowned as much for its famously hushed dining room as for its tasting menu-only arrangement—has just announced a lift on that punishing format, which heretofore has set diners back $95 without wine or cheese supplements.
