Fresh off her big-ticket Times review, Francine Stephens of the Prospect Heights hang Franny’s is staying in play. Local broadsheet The Brooklyn Paper brings word of her plans to open a second Brooklyn café by next summer.
To wit: "“We don’t have a space yet, but plan to open our next project by early summer in northern Brooklyn.” And while her Flatbush Avenue restaurant is a citywide phenom, Stephens said that the new venture will be going in a different direction. “It’s a different concept,” she said. “Not a restaurant, but a combination of a retail space and a cafe.”
