Paul Frank and his signature monkey Julius has always been one of our favorite stuffed characters. (We probably wouldn’t have Ugly Dolls or Happy Tree Friends if it weren’t for this eccentric little ape.) So we’re really excited to be giving away a set of four adorable Paul Frank plush dolls perfect for your little monkey at home. Click here to enter, then visit the Paul Frank boutique at 195 Mulberry St. to peruse all of the different styles.

We suspect you already know that we here at Time Out Kids are big fans of Dan Zanes. Perhaps the coolest thing about the iconic kiddie crooner is that he tackles myriad musical styles, from folk to punk to rock ‘n’ roll. But with his new album, 76 Trombones, he goes where he’s never gone before: the Great White Way. Not only does he cover classic Broadway tunes, he welcomes a number of Main Stem regulars as guests, including Matthew Broderick and Brian Stokes Mitchell. We’re giving five copies of the CD in honor of its November 17th release. Click here to enter to win!
The Children’s Place is really rewarding its Facebook friends! Just a few days after its Facebook gift card giveaway ended, the kiddie clothing chain is at it again: Every day, one lucky fan will win a Leapfrog prize package worth up to $70. Just click here to become a fan. Even if you don’t snag the goods, The Children’s Place always posts great deals and discounts on its page.
It seems like NYC’s gone nutty for Sesame Street. In honor of the iconic kids’ show’s 40th season (do you feel as old as us?), there’s an upcoming exhibit at the Brooklyn Public Library, prominently featuring the new book, Sesame Street: A Celebration of 40 Years of Life on the Street; a new Sesame Street Live stage show hitting MSG in February; and a retrospective DVD, Sesame Street: 40 Years of Sunny Days, chronicling four decades of top-notch edutainment. Time Out Kids is getting in on the celebration with two cool giveaways: Enter to win a family four-pack of tickets to see Sesame Street Live: When Elmo Grows Up and try to snag one of five copies of the new Sunny Days DVD. Nothing better than free stuff to chase “the clouds away…”
It’s been a Valentine’s Day tradition since our daughter was born to catch Sesame Street Live as a family at MSG. Every February, Elmo and his pals bring a new musical to town and this year the subject is one all little kids can relate to: what they want to be when they grow up. Although tickets for When Elmo Grows Up, which plays Feb4-15, 2010, haven’t yet gone on sale to the general public, Time Out Kids readers can purchase seats right away. Just click here and use the code TONYELMO. We’re also giving away a pair of family four-packs to two lucky winners. Click here to enter!
I admit, I get a smile on my face every time I watch my four-year-old help the Imagination Movers solve one of their quandaries on their eponymous Disney Playhouse series. So I was stoked (seems like the verb to use here) to hear that, in addition to the pop band’s new CD, For Those About to Hop, the quartet is going on tour. On Sunday, November 8, Rich, Scott, Dave and Smitty will hit NYC for a pair of practically sold-out concerts at the Nokia Theatre Time Square. We’re giving away a family four-pack of tickets to the 1:30pm show, along with a copy of the band’s new Walt Disney Records album. Click here for a chance to win!
