This Sunday, July 18, Francophilic Smith Street restos Bar Tabac and Robin des Bois are hosting a better-late-than-never Bastille Day fête with traditional food, music, the largest pétanque tournament in the U.S. and a (nonworking!) guillotine. Admission is free; a plate of tasty merguez with frites will set you back just $6. No word yet on the price of cake.
