Little Airplane Productions, the folks behind Nick Jr’s toddler classic, The Wonder Pets!, are set to go on a new adventure. On Sunday, July 12, they’re opening Little Airplane Café, a tot hot spot serving up songs and snacks at the South Street Seaport. Kindie music goddess Laurie Berkner kicks off the concert series with a special solo performance, which will be broadcast nationally via live remote on SIRIUS XM Radio’s Kids Place Live. Other upcoming shows include the tasty tunes of Milkshake! on Sunday, July 26, and best-selling children’s author Jon Scieszka (The Stinky Cheese Man) on Sunday, August 9. 207 Front St at South Street Seaport, 212-965-8999, littleairplane.com. Doors open at 12:30pm. Shows start at 1pm. Tickets: $8 in advance, $10 at the door.
