There was a time when the Midwestern Burning Man scene was so underground that it eschewed advertisting raves on the internet. This year, Resonate surfaced above ground with a website and a proper urban venue (not a cave) on Saturday, April 24 for a night of electronic dance music and rave-era vibes. Clubs photographer John Bergman, just back from shooting parties in Bali and parts unknown, was on hand to capture all the madness. With video installations, live performance and DJ sets from everyone from Karsh Kale and Radiohiro to Dan Bitney and DJ Warp, the multimedia experience held something for everyone. And of course, there had to be an after-party.
