Tell Lollapalooza how you really feel

Posted in Lollapalooza 2009, Music by Areif Sless-Kitain on November 4th, 2009 at 9:25 am

Still upset about the lack of hip-hop on last year’s Lolla lineup? Maybe you think the annual music fest behemoth should take on more country acts, or (gasp) jazz artists. As announced earlier on Twitter, fest organizers are taking virtual requests. Submit your own Lollapalooza requests now. Make your voice heard, whether you think the Polkaholics still haven’t gotten their due, or that it’s high time the Waco Brothers headlined the whole shebang. There’s an additional suggestion box on the ballot, so don’t be afraid to air any other grievances. After all, it’s our world. Lolla’s just living in it.

I agree — why spend so much to go to Lollapalooza if the Polkaholics won’t be there?

Turn the Lollapalooza into the POLKAPALOOZA!!!! I’d also put in a bid for The Rezillos , The Saints , The Sonics , The New York Dolls , and , yes , Question Mark and The Mysterians , who’d turn that sucker OUT !

Polka is part of Chicago’s diverse culture…what better way to represent that than including the Polkaholics at Lollapalooza!

Saw the Polkaholics for the first time after Octoberfest. Having the Polkaholics at Lollapalooza would make it a REAL Lollapalooza! Don’t miss this opportunity. Book ‘em.

    15. Posted by Kim Porter on November 17th, 2009 at 3:04 pm

I’ve seen the Polkaholics perform. They would be a great addition to the event!

Anyone know where one could find the final results?
