Aiming their lenses at our stages for years, William Frederking, Kristie Kahns, Johnny Knight, Todd Rosenberg and Sandro are the photographers that have captured Chicago dancers’ moving shapes and highest bounds. Rare prints of theirs have been put on the online block by performing arts development non-profit Audience Architects, who are using the auction to meet a $10,000 Donnelley Foundation challenge grant. It’s a noble cause, sure, but the images’ quality and bargain prices—at least so far—give you a short route to a dance fan’s best Chranukkwanzaakah ever. Also on offer are dinner packages, tickets, and even some cute Cubs merch. You know you’ve got some names left to cross off—get to clickin’.
Audience Architects auction runs through December 12.
