I’ve been hearing rumors for some time now that the folks behind the Empty Bottle (Bruce Finkelman and Peter Toalson) were planning a different kind of project (besides turning Sonotheque into a Beauty Bar). While the details are still a bit sketchy, the Bottle confirmed today that they’ve teamed up with Mode Carpentry and Struggle, Inc to open an inn in Logan Square. In addition to lodging, the inn will have “eating and drinking options.” Toalson declined to comment on the name or location, so I suppose this is just something to ponder over the weekend. Let’s start the speculation: perhaps the former Winds Café space?
