Get there early for the carriage rides (3:30–6:30pm) or arrive right on time with the kids in tow (because they offer free babysitting) and get ready to chow down on the bourbon red turkey brined in Seedling Cider or the thinly sliced Heritage Prairie Farm watermelon radish with red onion savory jam. You will be well fed and can even bring your own booze. 2N308 Brundige Rd (hpmfarm.com, call for reservations: 630-443-8253). 6pm, $65.
