Not being much of a console gamer, myself, I’ve never played Mirror’s Edge before, though it exists for purchase on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the PC. A stripped down, 2-D version of the game can be found online at the game’s website and it’s about as involved as I can handle with my limited attention span. Your task is to lead the main character, Faith, through the game’s wild obstacle course. The best part of the game is its use of physics. Using the left and right arrow keys, you can make Faith run faster, which will, in turn, make her jump farther. You can climb walls, swing on suspended loops and run up billboards. There doesn’t seem to be much of a goal to the game, but it’s an entertaining diversion to frolic in this digital playground.
