If you’re thinking that lobster was the last thing you’d expect to find in our “The real deal” series, you’re not alone. I can hardly believe it myself. But tonight Oceanique is offering a steamed Maine lobster with roasted red onion, beets, basil potatoes and a saffron-basil essence for $19. $19, people! There are some restaurants where just the essence would cost $19.
Of course, a deal like this doesn’t last forever. It happens tonight, and next Wednesday night and the Wednesday after that. But then, in Februrary, this Wednesday-night promotion will raise its price—to all of $20.
