Ballet Chicago, the youth company and training program headed by ex-NYCB luminary Dan Duell, is launching a Men’s Professional Ballet Training Program. With Duell’s and Ballet Chicago’s excellent track record, Chicago may soon become an alternative to New York for boys and young men who wish to follow in the flying footsteps of Baryshnikov, Nijinsky and Nureyev.
If you’d like to lend your support to their noble gestures, consider stopping by Ballet Chicago’s downtown studios on Monday 7 between 3:30pm an 6:30pm to observe the aspirants in class, enjoy hors d’ouvres and drinks and join in a champagne toast to the new initiative.
